Oxygen Audio's O'Car car radio honored for outstanding product design and innovation
Las Vegas, NV (January 6, 2011) – Oxygen Audio, the innovative French brand from ADMEA specializing in car audio electronics, has been named an International CES Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its O'Car, the world’s first car radio specifically designed for the iPhone.
Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 35 product categories. The O'Car has been recognized in the In-Vehicle Audio/Video category.
"We are privileged to receive recognition for our innovative O'Car from such a prestigious panel of judges," begins Gregory Borchardt, Managing Partner of Oxygen Audio North America. "This award reflects our commitment to providing next-generation car audio electronics and we are excited to showcase our line of O' Series technology at this year’s CES."
Compatible with all versions of the iPhone, the O'Car's patented technology enables users to control all standard car stereo functions using the iPhone touch screen, while allowing horizontal and vertical access so that all iPhone applications may be used in the car. In addition to its capabilities as a high end car radio, the O'Car provides access to your entire iTunes music catalogue, makes a hands-free call or syncs a Bluetooth headset, lets you access your favorite iPhone apps for the car and allows users to listen to Internet radio.
