Dallas, TX (August 28, 2011) - Kenwood USA Corporation will be offering highly informative sessions on the challenges of smartphone connectivity and integration of these devices in the car. These sessions, held at the 2011 MERA Knowledgefest in Dallas, TX will cover numerous topics related to the quickly-changing in-car electronics landscape and will offer insight on the future of aftermarket and OEM systems and solutions.
Scott Caswell, Senior Manager of Kenwood’s training initiative, said “We intend to have candid discussions on the challenges created by the use of smartphones in the vehicle today, how to gauge the impact of connected technologies and what solutions can be offered now and in the future. Smartphones are having an effect on how consumers bring content into the car which, in turn, changes their expectations on how they connect with in-car electronics. Kenwood has been at the forefront of these important issues and we will offer valuable insight to our dealers on what technologies to watch and how to meet the expectations of the newly connected consumer. We believe these sessions will be useful for installers, salespeople and dealer owners because these trends have a unique impact on all of them.”
Kenwood will be holding two sessions, one on Sunday, August 28 at 5:00 PM and one on Monday, August 29 at 5:00 PM. Both days’ sessions will be held in the Grapevine 4 meeting room of the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center alongside the 2011 MERA Knowledgefest. Show-floor attendees visiting the Kenwood booth (#817) can see some of Kenwood’s best-selling in-dash electronics and learn how to offer their smartphone customers the best possible in-car connectivity solutions.
